Forest Oaks Animal Hospital has proudly served the NC area since 1982. We pride in assisting families for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital was created by Dr. Rodger W. Kleisch in 1982 in the Forest Oaks Shopping Center. In 2001 Dr. Kleisch build the current building and moved the practice to 2001 Alamance Church Road, allowing for increased accessibility to clients. The entire doctor team consists of Dr. David J. Kleisch (2013), Dr. Marie Ballengee (2014), and Dr. Stephen Coble (2016) and relief work with long time associates Dr. Nancy Hesters and Dr. Randy Lynn. The entire team is committed to not only treating pets but also educating clients on how to keep pets healthy year round, through preventative care, appropriate nutrition, and necessary medical attention when needed. Forest Oaks Animal Hospital stays up to date with of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Many of the same problems that affect people as they age, such as arthritis and diabetes, can also affect your pet. Making a few changes to the way you care for your furry friend will help you ensure that your pet stays healthy and happy as the years go by.

"We would not have our beautiful girl if it weren't for the loving staff at Forest Oaks. If we still lived in NC, we wouldn't go anywhere else."
- Lenora Metz
"I bring all my babies, both past and present here. They truly care about our animals and are good people. A good vet is priceless!!"
- Tracey Shrouder
"Dr. Kleisch and his staff are the best. We had multiple visits to other vets for one of our dogs. He handled the skin problem in one visit. All our pups go there now. Nice and reasonable."
